Mesquite and Turquoise Bowl

A mesquite lidded bowl with a turquoise cabachon accent.  The bowl is now being used to store loose tea.  The wood came from Glendale, AZ.

This is the first mortar and pestle I have finished.  Both the mortar and pestle are made of mesquite and are finished with food safe mineral oil.

Olive Wood Salt Box

The wood for this salt box came from a local olive tree that was damaged in a storm.  This piece now lives in a gourmet kitchen in Phoenix.  Enjoy it, "P".
