Bowls and lidded boxes

Bowls and lidded boxes are made fallen wood I have found or from pieces of wood that people have given me.   Pieces are finished with tung oil,  polyurathane or mineral oil.  The finished bowls are food safe.

This lidded bowl is made from donated peach wood.  It is approximately  four inches wide and  three tall.  It has been sold and now resides in Detroit.  .

This natural edged bowl is made from oak.  It has a hint of turquoise filler due to a void in the wood.  The wood for this piece was given to me by a neighbor.  It now lives in a condo in downtown Phoenix.

This walnut bowl is made from wood salvaged from a barn that was built in California about 120 years ago.  It is approximately 4 inches tall.  Thank you "B" and "L" for the wood donation.

This lidded pecan bowl is approximately five inches tall.  It was made the wood of a tree that was cut down by a pool owner who got tired of cleaning leaves out of his pool.

This small lidded box is made from mesquite wood.  The wood was donated by a friend from California.  Thank you "J".

This is another lidded bowl made from the salvaged California walnut.  It is now living back in California.
